megadm4: Quake 3 duel map
megadm4 is a Quake 3 duel map. It plays like a mixture of
ztn and aerowalk: Fast, but with lots of items.
Version 09 has been used in this custom-map
tournament .
Beta 1
Finally the first beta is available – and it actually looks like I spent
more than 30 minutes working on it ;-). Download megadm4-beta1
(8.7mb). There was one structural change: the ledge with lg sitting
on it was slightly extended. This shouldn't change the gameplay much,
though.

download megadm4–09. I don't think this version needs a lot of gameplay-changes anymore.
- shaft /rl swap didn't really work, swapped back to old
- Second rl instead of plasma
- 50h moved to below shaft, 25h to below ra
- lowered shaft area, easier to attack from below
- new pillars at shaft and rl → balances shaft and rail with rl
- divided the (old) sg → gl stairs at ra

download megadm4–06a. Sort of a rollback to 06 – 07 didn't seem to work that well. The two games I had on it so far worked nicely, way better than 07 and a tad better (iirc) than 06. Slower, more strategy. Sometimes feel a bit lost at lya though :)
- rl <> shaft exchanged (1 ammo, too) (yay for cymozz)
- tele-in is now below tele-out, kinda similar in style to the ztn ra tele or qw teles
- 50h at mh is 25h
- v07 spawns
- ra upper 25h moved to pg
- ra lower 25h and gl ammo moved to tele in
- 2×5h moved to gl/ra
- ra ledge architecture simplified
- roof over old rl area like in 07

- upper rl access entrance is smaller
- tele exit pushed back into the wall
- ssg moved to rl room
- pg has stairs up to previous ssg/gl now
- removed leftover hole in the wall below shaft
- moved rl ammo
- removed one 25h near rl
