Game Videos August '09
Here's some videos worth watching.
- Cry Engine 3: GC 2009 Cevat Yerli Demo The city level looks a bit meh design-wise, but the rest seems awesome. What system does this run on? PS3? There's quite some LOD popping going on. Does anybody have better quality videos of this? Make sure to check out Demo pt1 and pt2 on the right to see some impressive editor/pc/xbox/ps3 syncing going on.
- Wolfenstein videos recorded by Zombie I jokingly asked him to record videos, and he did. Interesting to see id Tech 4 in a different setting. Someone mentioned it appears that they have ripped stencil shadows out of the engien and replaced them with shadow maps…
- Interview with LordHavoc who does the Linux and Mac ports of Quake Live. (And Darkplaces, of course!)
- Not really a game, but looks as if it was ripped straight from (a better looking) Doom 3: Missile defense multiple kill vehicle hover test.
- Nice Dust 514 teaser seemingly console-only FPS MMO fro the EVE developers.
